I was born in Europe, and that early exposure to different countries and cultures shaped a lot of how I approach both work and life, I've never been someone who stays confined to one lane for very long. My primary focus these days is quantum computing and artificial intelligence, and I'm well studied in both, not just as academic subjects but as fields I actively build in. I run several ongoing research projects across the two, currently centered on quantum-classical hybrid learning systems and AI interpretability, work that sits at the intersection of understanding how complex systems function, whether that system is a model or a mind.

Outside of research, my interests have always pulled in a few different directions at once. I trained seriously in ballet for over a decade, spent time modeling, and picked up a bit of hockey along the way, three pursuits that couldn't be more different from quantum computing, which is part of why I've kept them all. Travel has been a constant throughout, I've spent extensive time across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, and it's given me a broader sense of how differently people approach the same problems depending on where they're standing.

If there's a throughline across all of this, it's that I enjoy learning almost more than I enjoy having already learned something. New fields, new skills, new ways of thinking about a problem, I'm drawn to all of it, and that curiosity is probably the closest thing I have to a consistent identity underneath the specific projects and disciplines I happen to be working in at any given time.
